Big Siberian Roebuck in Kasakhstan

Experience hunting for big Siberian roebuck in northern Kasakhstan. The Kustanai hunting district produces impressive, world class trophies and is today regarded as one of the best districts in Asia for Siberian roebuck.

The hunting district of Kustanai is today regarded as one of the best districts in Asia for Siberian roebuck, as it annually produces trophies of the very highest quality. Every year our districts produces a number of bucks with a trophy weight of between 1,200 - 1,400 grams. The Siberian roebuck in Kustanai often produce trophies that appear much larger than their weight might suggest,this can only be seen as a good thing for visiting hunters, as the trophy fee is calculated by weight. 

The Siberian roebuck is closely related to our native roebuck but is larger in both body and trophy size.There can be no doubt that this exciting rutting season hunt for big Siberian roebuck will act as a magnet for travelling European hunters with a weakness fro roebuck hunts.

On this hunt it is possible to shoot more than one buck. However the number of licenses available is limited, so it is important to arrange the number of animals you wish to shoot when you book your tour.

You hunt over varied terrain with rolling hills, large fields, forest, meadows and fallow-land, which together produce the ideal biotope for Siberian roe deer.

If your trophy  collection is missing a big roebuck, this is the ideal way of filling that gap!

Hunting Season:

The best hunting period is during the rutting season, which occurs here somewhat later than it does with European roe deer, from mid/late August to mid September.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Depart from Hannover around mid day, fly to Kustanai, via Moscow.

Day 2: Early morning arrival in Kustanai, transfer to the hunting district (circa. 3 hours) shooting in of your rifle and your first stalking session.

Days 3-7: 5 days hunting 1:1.

Day 8: Early morning stalking session, followed by your transfer back to Kustanai. 

Day 9: Return flight to Hannover, via Moscow. 

The Hunt:

The hunt is a blend of stalking, lying in wait, and drives in a 4wd vehicle. Roe deer here are generally more widely dispersed than in Europe, so, because of the large distances involves you should be prepared for some driving. The hunting is always with 1:1 guiding, and places are available for up to 5 hunters on a single district at the same time.

1st slot - 22st - 30th August 2023

 2nd slot - 29th August - 6th September 2023
